This is the “black beauty” that was destined to become the replacement “Hard Rangie” to my 1999 4.0 P38.

I missed the leather interior, sunroof, steering wheel controls, his and her “memory seats” etc from my previous HSE. My 1999 4.0 is a beast of a car with 2″ lift, 33″ tyres, throaty exhaust note, custom front and rear bars, but inside it is a tad basic compared to the HSE.

When I brought it home, my better half took it for a run and decided that it was too nice for me to turn it in to an offroad beast and that it was better suited to ferry her Boxer dog around in comfort. No complaints from me though, as long as the nice black leather seats are protected from the dog’s paws… and I get to play with two P38′s… cool.
